NBA Offseason 2012: Dallas Mavericks Show Interest In Brazilian Center Rafael Hettsheimer

What Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is thinking is anyone's guess at this point.

After losing out on the Deron Williams sweepstakes, Cuban agreed to let Jason Kidd walk to the New York Knicks and Jason Terry to the Boston Celtics in free agency this summer, a year removed from letting Tyson Chandler go to the Knicks last summer.

Now the current Mavs roster is a mere shell of the one that won the NBA Championship just one year ago.

Needing to shore up their interior, the Mavericks are showing interest in Brazillian center Rafael Hettsheimer, according to a report by ESPN Dallas.

The team has reportedly made an offer to the 6-10 big man who has been playing professionally in Spain and has drawn wide interest from NBA teams after coming stateside and taking meetings and medical examinations.
