DUTIES:
?Responsible for maintaining and developing book series and individual projects for assigned lists in the US education program
?The role will involve extensive research of the US education market, entailing campus travel and some convention attendance in North America
?Close liaison with the US and UK education books and journals teams, series editors, book authors, and professional organizations, as well as marketing, production, and sales colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
?At least 2 years? experience as a Senior Editorial Assistant, Developmental Editor, and/or Associate Editor
?Must be a self-starter who can work independently, while liaising effectively with other team members
?Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly organized; keen financial sense, and ability to budget and analyze financial data; ability to prioritize work under pressure
?Strong word processing, spreadsheet and database skills essential
?Some knowledge of English language/linguistics is desirable
EDUCATION:
?BA or equivalent educational experience
